Residential and Commercial Care and Maintenance

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR WINDOW FILM IS MOUNTED TO THE INTERIOR SURFACE OF GLASS AND SPECIFIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS ARE INTENDED FOR INTERIOR SURFACES ONLY.

Do not wash film for 30 days after the installation. Visual changes during this period are a natural part of the bonding process. Depending on the product, it may take up to 60 days for the film to fully cure. Small water dimples will diminish and eventually disappear. Please do not push on or manipulate these water pockets as this will distort the adhesion process and may permanently distort the clarity of your new film.

Security and Graffiti films will take the longest to dry and show water dimples the longest. Depending on weather conditions and aspect to the sun these products will take the longest to dry. It is important not to wash these films for at least 30 days due to the fact that these water dimples may be pushed or spread under the film resulting in the smearing of the pressure sensitive adhesive. Please do not push or apply pressure to these water dimples as this will also result in the smearing of the glue.

FOR BEST CLEANING RESULTS, use a mild detergent solution or a commercical window cleaner such as SprayWay glass cleaner, Glass Plus or Windex Plus.

DO NOT USE ANY GLASS CLEANER WITH AMMONIA. You may use a soft paper towel, soft terry cloth or a rubber squeegee. A window washer's lamb wool cloth can also be used. Even thought the film is very scratch resistant, it is not scratch proof. If in the event that you do scratch the film while cleaning, an automotive wax may be applied to the scratched area and buffed to reduce the imperfection.
